Join Search Personnel as a Senior Project Engineer specializing in HVAC and Data Centre Cooling Systems in the vibrant heart of Bali. This is a unique opportunity to lead high-impact infrastructure projects in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing tech and hospitality hubs.
In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end execution of critical cooling systems for data centres, commercial buildings, and luxury resorts across Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung. Your expertise will ensure energy-efficient, reliable, and scalable solutions that meet international standards while aligning with Bali’s tropical climate challenges.

Responsibility
- Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC and data centre cooling systems, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE, ISO, and local regulations.
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs for tender submissions and client approvals.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery without cost overruns.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to mitigate potential issues during installation and operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (M&E, electrical, civil) to integrate cooling systems with broader infrastructure.
- Implement energy-efficient solutions, including free cooling, chilled water systems, and CRAC/CRAH units, to optimize PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness).
- Provide technical support during system testing, troubleshooting, and handover to clients, including training for operations teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies in liquid cooling, immersion cooling, and AI-driven thermal management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design, project management, or data centre cooling, with a proven track record in large-scale installations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM 360 for system modeling and coordination.
- Strong understanding of ASHRAE 90.4, LEED, and Green Mark standards for sustainable building practices.
- Experience with VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) systems, chillers, cooling towers, and heat exchangers.
- Excellent project management skills, including familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Certifications in PMP, LEED AP, or CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) are a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous but not required.
