Responsibility
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and blueprints using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project specifications.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and project managers to develop and refine design concepts, addressing technical challenges and optimizing structural integrity.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility, gather data, and ensure designs align with on-ground conditions and environmental considerations.
- Review and interpret technical documents, including geotechnical reports, topographical surveys, and municipal guidelines, to inform design decisions.
- Perform calculations for structural loads, drainage systems, road alignments, and other civil engineering components to support design accuracy.
- Coordinate with contractors and construction teams to provide technical support during the implementation phase, resolving discrepancies and ensuring adherence to design intent.
- Maintain project documentation, including revisions, approvals, and as-built drawings, to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering and drafting to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering and drafting, with a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in technical drawings and design.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or other industry-standard drafting and design software.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian building codes, Bali’s zoning regulations, and international engineering standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocodes).
- Proficient in structural analysis, drainage design, road alignment, and geotechnical considerations for construction projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, actionable plans.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainable design practices is highly desirable.
