As the on-site Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact BMS projects, ensuring seamless integration of technology, sustainability, and client satisfaction. Based in the vibrant and rapidly growing hub of Bali, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage advanced IoT and automation technologies, and deliver solutions that align with Johnson Controls’ mission of creating healthier, more efficient environments.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end project management for BMS installations, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement technical solutions for building automation, HVAC controls, energy management, and IoT-enabled systems.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Conduct site assessments, risk analyses, and feasibility studies to optimize system performance and sustainability.
- Oversee commissioning, testing, and validation of BMS solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASHRAE).
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and post-implementation reviews.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in smart building technologies and propose innovative improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in BMS, building automation, or HVAC controls, with at least 3 years in a project leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale BMS projects from conception to completion.
- Strong proficiency in BMS software (e.g., Metasys, Niagara, Trane), PLC programming, and network protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications in PMP, LEED, or BMS-specific credentials are highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project requirements.
