Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end project management for AI infrastructure and data centre deployments, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, high-performance AI/ML infrastructure solutions tailored to client needs.
- Oversee vendor and stakeholder coordination, including negotiations, procurement, and risk assessment for large-scale projects.
- Develop and implement best practices for data centre efficiency, including cooling, power management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new AI infrastructure investments and upgrades.
- Travel to client sites (regionally and internationally) to provide onsite technical support, training, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, TIA, Uptime Institute) and local regulations for data centre operations.
- Drive continuous improvement through performance metrics, post-project reviews, and innovation roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management for IT infrastructure, data centres, or AI/ML systems.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale technical projects with budgets exceeding $1M.
- Strong knowledge of AI infrastructure components (GPU clusters, high-speed networking, storage solutions).
- Certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or data centre-specific credentials (e.g., CDCP, CDCMP) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (additional languages a bonus).
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) to client sites across Asia-Pacific.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure models.
