As a BIM Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming architectural, structural, and MEP designs into intelligent 3D models, ensuring seamless coordination between stakeholders. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure clash detection and resolution in multi-disciplinary projects.
- Generate and manage BIM execution plans (BEP) and ensure adherence to project standards and protocols.
- Produce construction drawings, schedules, and quantities from BIM models to support project teams.
- Conduct 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost estimation) simulations to optimize project timelines and budgets.
- Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and provide technical support to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local and international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, AIA, or client-specific requirements).
- Train and mentor junior team members on BIM best practices and software tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360; knowledge of ArchiCAD or Tekla is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 or Level 3 methodologies and collaborative workflows.
- Experience with clash detection, 4D/5D BIM, and model-based quantity takeoffs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and standards is a plus.
- Certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM Manager) are highly desirable.
