Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for AI infrastructure and data centre deployments, from planning to execution and delivery.
- Design and optimize scalable, high-availability systems for AI workloads, including GPU clusters, storage solutions, and networking architectures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions.
- Develop and implement best practices for data centre efficiency, including cooling, power management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively resolve bottlenecks to maintain optimal uptime and reliability.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, machine learning, and data centre technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present technical reports, project documentation, and ROI analyses for leadership and clients.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry certifications (e.g., ISO, TIA-942).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on AI infrastructure, data centres, or cloud computing.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale IT or data centre projects from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking (Cisco, Juniper), virtualization, and storage systems (e.g., Dell, HPE, NetApp).
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and GPU-accelerated computing (NVIDIA, AMD).
- Familiarity with data centre certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDCMP) and sustainability practices (PUE, renewable energy integration).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with a focus on innovation and scalability.
