Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement automation systems to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate solutions.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and operational procedures.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on automation systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all automation projects.
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation for automation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automation engineering, with a strong understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Python for automation applications.
- Experience with CAD software and simulation tools for system design and testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols related to automation and control systems.
- Certification in automation or control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) is a plus.
