Astrodyne TDI is a global leader in power conversion solutions, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Production Manager to join our manufacturing facility in Perai, Penang. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing high-mix PSU (Power Supply Unit) assembly operations, ensuring that our production lines function with maximum efficiency, world-class quality, and strict safety compliance.

Responsibility
- Lead and direct overall production operations for PSU assembly, ensuring all output meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and manage costs effectively.
- Oversee production scheduling to ensure 100% on-time delivery in a high-mix, high-volume environment.
- Maintain a zero-incident safety culture by ensuring strict adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) regulations.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team of supervisors, engineers, and production operators.
- Analyze production metrics and KPI reports to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Engineering to streamline production processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in production management, preferably within the electronics or power supply manufacturing industry.
- Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage high-mix production environments with complex Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a result-oriented mindset.
