Responsibility
- Lead and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, inspection plans, and testing protocols for manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, providing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers, materials, and processes to maintain consistent product quality.
- Train and mentor junior quality engineers and production staff on quality best practices and standards.
- Participate in new product development projects, ensuring quality considerations are integrated from design to production.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and quality management systems to enhance organizational capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and other quality tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficient in using quality management software and tools (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Quality Engineering (e.g., CQE, CMQ/OE) is a plus.
