Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end product engineering processes, from design and prototyping to testing and commercialization.
- Develop and implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance.
- Drive R&D initiatives to explore new materials, technologies, and methodologies for product innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, QA) to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Optimize system enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product concepts.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in product engineering, with a focus on R&D or system enhancements.
- Proven track record in cost optimization and value engineering for manufactured products.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
