Responsibility
- Lead the introduction of new products from concept to mass production, ensuring timely and cost-effective launches.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability and scalability.
- Develop and implement NPI processes, including prototyping, testing, and validation, to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the product development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Conduct thorough product testing and analysis to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Document and maintain detailed records of NPI processes, including design changes, test results, and production metrics.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure smooth transition from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in new product introduction (NPI) or product development within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and product testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using CAD software, PLM systems, and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies to ensure timely and successful product launches.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO, IPC, and RoHS.
