Responsibility
- Lead the design process for chemical product solutions, from concept to final delivery, ensuring alignment with client and stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, chemists, and marketing teams to integrate technical feasibility with user-centered design principles.
- Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform design decisions and innovations.
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and visual mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and documentation to ensure consistency across product lines.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in chemical product design, materials, and sustainability to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, preferably within the chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design projects, including research, ideation, prototyping, and implementation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile or Lean methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of material science, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards in the chemical industry is highly desirable.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for sustainability and innovative design solutions.
