Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet company needs while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Identify and assess potential suppliers, conducting due diligence to ensure reliability and alignment with company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, and legal) to align procurement strategies with business goals.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and cost-saving opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency.
- Oversee the procurement process from request to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of materials and services.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations, cost reduction, and contract management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations, ethics, and compliance standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
