Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of high-quality materials, furniture, and services to support interior design projects.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Liaise with logistics teams to track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely arrival of goods.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and contracts with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying and evaluating new vendors.
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
- Generate reports on purchasing activities, spending, and supplier performance for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the furniture, interior design, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with local and international supplier networks, especially in the Southeast Asian market.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
