Responsibility
- Develop and implement global procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard overseas vendors while ensuring compliance with company policies and international regulations.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, finance, operations) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, supply chain risks, and cost-saving opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, from RFQ to purchase order execution and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably in manufacturing, transportation, or logistics.
- Proven track record of negotiating with international suppliers and managing global procurement projects.
- Strong knowledge of incoterms, customs regulations, and import/export procedures.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS are highly advantageous.
