Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, services, and equipment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely deliveries.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures to identify opportunities for savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, finance, logistics) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the supply chain team to optimize stock and reduce lead times.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and risk assessments to maintain a reliable and ethical supply base.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track procurement activities, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or technology sector.
- Proven track record in negotiation, vendor management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with global suppliers and internal teams.
- Knowledge of incoterms, contract law, and international trade regulations is a plus.
- Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
