Responsibility

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, services, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely deliveries.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures to identify opportunities for savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, finance, logistics) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with the supply chain team to optimize stock and reduce lead times.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and risk assessments to maintain a reliable and ethical supply base.
  • Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track procurement activities, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or technology sector.
  • Proven track record in negotiation, vendor management, and cost reduction strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with global suppliers and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of incoterms, contract law, and international trade regulations is a plus.
  • Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
