Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement costs and supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable agreements.
- Manage purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels to ensure seamless material availability for production.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to foster long-term partnerships and reliability.
- Conduct market research and cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics (quality, delivery times, pricing) and address any issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or EMS industries.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of inventory management, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and just-in-time (JIT) principles.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is a plus.
