Responsibility
- Lead and oversee footwear manufacturing operations at adidas factories, ensuring alignment with global quality and efficiency standards.
- Develop and implement strategic production plans to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance) to drive product innovation and operational excellence.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability and ethical manufacturing practices in line with adidas’ corporate values.
- Mentor and develop production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, skill development, and continuous learning.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to quality specifications.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce lead times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in footwear manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale production operations in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with international suppliers and cross-cultural teams.
- Familiarity with sustainability standards (e.g., Fair Labor Association, SA8000) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); Indonesian language skills are a plus.
