Responsibility
- Develop and implement inventory monitoring systems to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize shortages or excesses.
- Lead regional procurement strategies, including vendor negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate ordering, shipping, and logistics for timely delivery of materials across multiple locations.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and sales teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Prepare and present procurement reports with actionable insights for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalate critical issues with proactive solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Proven track record in regional procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping is a plus.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS are highly advantageous.
