Responsibility
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract renewals, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align procurement activities with business needs.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, providing insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Support the resolution of procurement-related issues and escalate critical matters as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a proven track record in cost savings.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, ethical sourcing, and sustainability practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
