Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes for manufacturing materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize supplier selection and reduce procurement costs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and address any issues to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and quality concerns.
- Leverage data analytics to track procurement KPIs, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to enhance procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within manufacturing or FMCG industries.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships in an international context.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is highly desirable.
