Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of 25-50 employees or a support function team to ensure efficient procurement operations.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
