Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Evaluate supplier performance, conduct market research, and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to align procurement with business objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing operations.
- Mitigate supply chain risks by diversifying suppliers and maintaining contingency plans.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, including spend analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure cost-effective contracts.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive data-driven decisions.
