Responsibility

  • Monitor and analyze real-time defect data using advanced metrology and inspection tools to identify root causes of process deviations.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality assurance, and production) to optimize process parameters and improve yield.
  • Document and report defect trends, analysis findings, and recommended solutions in detailed technical reports.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance of RDA systems.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on defect analysis techniques, best practices, and safety protocols.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma projects, to enhance process efficiency.
  • Adhere to strict ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and cleanroom protocols to maintain a contamination-free environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in defect analysis, process control, or metrology.
  • Hands-on experience with scanning electron microscopes (SEM), optical inspection tools, or e-beam systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., JMP, Excel, Python, or MATLAB).
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and failure mode analysis methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a high-precision environment.
  • Ability to work in 12-hour rotating shifts (including nights and weekends) in a cleanroom setting.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to document findings clearly and present to stakeholders.
