Responsibility
- Collaborate with process engineers to optimize manufacturing workflows and enhance production efficiency.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and improve yield.
- Implement and monitor process improvements using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for optimization.
- Support the development and validation of new manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and production staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Process Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
- Hands-on experience with process optimization, root cause analysis (RCA), and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in using MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP software, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) or lean manufacturing is a plus.
