Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of engineering projects within the healthcare sector.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and healthcare professionals to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into facility designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support project planning and decision-making.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet performance and safety requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in mechanical engineering and project management.
- Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on project management within the healthcare sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and engineering simulation software.
- Strong understanding of healthcare facility requirements, including HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems.
