Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and safety.
- Conduct comprehensive laboratory testing, pilot trials, and scale-up studies to validate process feasibility.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to implement innovative solutions for chemical synthesis and purification.
- Monitor and analyze process performance data to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety, environmental, and quality regulations (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation for chemical processes.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical process design, optimization, or manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, COMSOL, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of chemical safety protocols, HAZOP studies, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience with pilot plant operations and scale-up from lab to industrial production.
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
