Responsibility
- Develop, optimize, and maintain stamping processes to meet high-volume production demands while ensuring zero-defect quality standards.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for process deviations, scrap reduction, and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with R&D, tooling, and production teams to design and validate new stamping dies, tools, and fixtures.
- Conduct process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and statistical analysis to enhance repeatability and reliability.
- Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices in stamping operations, safety protocols, and quality control.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in metal forming, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies to recommend process upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other relevant automotive/medical industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in stamping process engineering, preferably in automotive, medical devices, or electronics manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in die design, tooling, and press operations (mechanical/hydraulic presses).
- Strong knowledge of metallurgy, material properties, and sheet metal forming principles.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA simulation tools.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
