In this critical role, you'll be the bridge between design and production, applying your technical expertise to assess product design rationality, evaluate production operability, and implement robust process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA). Based in Bali (with options in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung), you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality assurance, and production to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of product design rationality to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
- Evaluate production operability and identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements
- Develop and implement Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to mitigate risks in manufacturing processes
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions from design to full-scale production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust process control systems
- Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flow diagrams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing environments
- Proven expertise in PFMEA, process optimization, and production operability assessments
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation tools, and statistical analysis software
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams and manage multiple priorities
