Responsibility
- Lead the development and optimization of advanced memory process technologies, including DRAM, NAND, or emerging memory solutions.
- Design and execute experiments to improve yield, performance, and reliability of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance) to transition new processes from development to high-volume production.
- Analyze complex data sets using statistical methods to identify process improvements and root causes of defects.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams to ensure process consistency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive technologies to drive innovation within Micron's memory solutions.
- Participate in design reviews and failure analysis to enhance product robustness and manufacturability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor process development, with a focus on memory technologies.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes (lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, etc.).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (JMP, Python, R, or similar) and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and failure analysis techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training, collaboration, or site support.
