Responsibility
- Lead the development and optimization of micro-optics manufacturing processes, including lithography, etching, and coating, to enhance product performance and yield.
- Design and implement metrology systems and protocols to ensure compliance with stringent quality standards (e.g., ISO, SEM, AFM).
- Conduct root-cause analysis for process deviations and propose corrective actions to minimize defects and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to scale new technologies from prototype to mass production.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and technical reports.
- Evaluate and integrate advanced metrology tools (e.g., interferometers, profilometers) to enhance measurement accuracy.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in process control and quality assurance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in precision manufacturing and recommend innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering or metrology, preferably in micro-optics, semiconductor, or precision manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with metrology tools (e.g., SEM, AFM, CMM, optical profilers) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW) and CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of cleanroom protocols and contamination control in high-precision environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of improving process efficiency and yield.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international team and adapt to evolving technical challenges.
