Based in the vibrant tech hub of Bali, Indonesia, you will play a pivotal role in defining chip specifications, designing high-performance analog modules, and ensuring seamless integration from concept to production.
This is a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your expertise in analog IC design will directly impact the success of industry-leading products. With a competitive salary package and the chance to live in one of the world’s most sought-after destinations, this role combines professional growth with an unparalleled lifestyle.
Responsibility
- Define and document detailed chip specifications and architectural requirements for analog and mixed-signal ICs.
- Design, simulate, and optimize high-performance analog modules (e.g., PLLs, ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, power management circuits).
- Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturing) compliance and optimal performance.
- Lead pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation, including lab testing and debugging.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production and yield issues through root-cause analysis and design improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on analog design best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., digital design, verification, and product engineering) to deliver robust solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in analog IC design, process technologies, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in analog IC design, with a proven track record in tape-outs.
- Expertise in CMOS analog design (e.g., op-amps, comparators, bandgaps, LDOs) and mixed-signal circuits.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Cadence Spectre, Virtuoso, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor process technologies (e.g., 40nm, 28nm, FinFET).
- Experience with layout parasitic extraction (LPE) and EM/IR analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex analog circuits.
- Fluency in English; prior experience in an international or multicultural team is a plus.
