Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize custom automation systems for manufacturing applications, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards.
- Lead the commissioning, testing, and validation of automation equipment, including robotic cells, conveyor systems, and control panels.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for seamless operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during machine installation, startup, and production ramp-up phases.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and user manuals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance data and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
- Provide on-site and remote support to clients, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system reliability.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in Industry 4.0 and recommend innovative solutions to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a proven track record in machine design, PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), and industrial robotics.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools for system modeling.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) and safety standards (ISO, OSHA).
- Experience with servo motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and vision systems in automated environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced R&D or production setting.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client site installations and training.
