Responsibility
- Design and develop custom mechanical components and systems for industrial automation using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers) to integrate mechanical designs into fully functional automation solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing and assembly.
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, scalability, and ease of maintenance while ensuring high precision and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during the development and deployment phases.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering and automation.
- Provide technical support and documentation for clients, including installation guidelines and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- For Senior Engineers: 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automation or industrial machinery. For Junior Engineers: 1-3 years of experience or relevant internships.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar) and simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding) and material selection.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and familiarity with industry standards (ISO, ASME).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with global teams and clients.
