Responsibility
- Lead the design, engineering, and optimization of solar PV systems, including grid-tied and off-grid solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and energy yield analysis to ensure project viability.
- Develop and review technical specifications, schematics, and single-line diagrams for solar installations.
- Oversee procurement, testing, and commissioning of electrical components, inverters, and battery storage systems.
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes (e.g., IEC, NEC, SNI) and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, civil engineers, and contractors, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers and on-site teams.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maximize efficiency and uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years specializing in solar PV systems.
- Proven track record of designing and commissioning utility-scale or commercial solar projects.
- Proficiency in PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope) and simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols for renewable energy systems.
- Experience with grid integration, energy storage, and hybrid systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
