Responsibility
- Develop and verify design calculations for precast concrete structures, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (e.g., SNI, ACI, Eurocode).
- Create detailed shop drawings and production blueprints using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Submit drawings and technical documents to clients, consultants, and authorities for approval and permitting.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to resolve design conflicts and optimize precast solutions for constructability.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimates for precast components to support procurement and budgeting.
- Conduct quality control checks on drawings and designs to minimize errors and rework.
- Stay updated on industry trends in precast technology, sustainable materials, and modular construction methods.
- Provide technical guidance to junior drafters and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in precast concrete design, drafting, or structural engineering, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla) and BIM tools (Navisworks, ArchiCAD).
- Strong knowledge of precise design codes (SNI, ACI 318, Eurocode 2) and construction methodologies.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000) is highly desirable.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills in English; Indonesian language proficiency is a bonus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification is advantageous.
