Responsibility
- Lead the design and engineering of precast concrete elements, including structural components, facades, and modular systems, ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to develop innovative precast solutions that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform structural analysis and finite element modeling (FEM) to optimize precast designs for performance, durability, and manufacturability.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications using CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla).
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure precast elements are manufactured, transported, and installed according to design intent and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in precast manufacturing, logistics, and installation to reduce waste and enhance project timelines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and draftsmen, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in precast engineering to drive ASECâs competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; a Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., P.E., CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in precast concrete design, engineering, or manufacturing, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and BIM/CAD tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Tekla).
- Strong understanding of international building codes (e.g., ACI, Eurocode, IBC) and precast concrete standards (e.g., PCI, EN 13369).
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and parametric design is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian is an advantage.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia or work remotely within the country; visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.
