Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive foot and lower limb assessments, including gait analysis and diagnostic imaging interpretations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, diabetic foot ulcers, and sports-related injuries.
- Perform minor surgical procedures, including nail surgeries, wart removals, and soft tissue corrections, adhering to sterile protocols.
- Prescribe and fit orthotics, braces, and other corrective devices to improve patient mobility and alleviate pain.
- Educate patients on preventive foot care, proper footwear, and lifestyle adjustments to promote long-term foot health.
- Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, and diabetes specialists to provide integrated care for complex cases.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
- Stay updated on advancements in podiatric medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice podiatry in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Podiatrist, with a proven track record in diagnosing and treating foot disorders.
- Experience in diabetic foot care, wound management, and post-surgical rehabilitation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as X-rays, ultrasounds, and pressure analysis systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
