Responsibility
- Assist registered nurses and medical staff in daily clinical operations, including patient preparation and examination support.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient histories, and symptoms with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and examination rooms to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.
- Provide basic patient care, such as wound dressing, administering medications (under supervision), and assisting with mobility.
- Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medication instructions, and general health practices.
- Coordinate with laboratory and pharmacy teams to process samples and prescriptions efficiently.
- Respond to emergency situations with composure, following established protocols to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Nursing or equivalent certification in healthcare assistance (e.g., Certified Nursing Assistant).
- Proven experience (1+ years) in a clinical, hospital, or long-term care setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, infection control practices, and basic patient care techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus) to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach, with the ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer proficiency.
- Physical stamina to assist with patient transfers and stand for extended periods.
- Valid healthcare certification or license to practice in Indonesia (or willingness to obtain one).
