Responsibility
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnose foot and lower limb pathologies in a primary care setting.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, evidence-based podiatric treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
- Provide specialized diabetic foot screening, ulcer management, and prevention education to high-risk patients.
- Perform biomechanical evaluations and design custom orthotic devices to improve patient mobility.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and physiotherapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior podiatrists and participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Podiatry or a recognized equivalent qualification.
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical podiatry experience, preferably in a hospital or polyclinic setting.
- Strong clinical skills in wound care, diabetic foot management, and biomechanics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
