Responsibility
- Design, develop, and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems using industry-standard platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric).
- Develop and configure SCADA/HMI interfaces for real-time monitoring and control of industrial processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define automation requirements, create functional specifications, and ensure seamless system integration.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in PLC, SCADA, and industrial communication networks (e.g., Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
- Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) to validate system performance and compliance with client specifications.
- Provide technical support, training, and documentation for end-users and maintenance teams.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in Industry 4.0, IoT, and smart manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards (e.g., ISO, IEC) and industry best practices in all automation solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., TÜV, Siemens Certified) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram) and SCADA development (e.g., WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware).
- Proficiency in industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP) and networking.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo motors, and industrial sensors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex automation systems.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with international clients and teams.
- Willingness to travel to client sites in Indonesia or Southeast Asia as required.
