Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to support high-availability applications.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Develop and enforce SRE best practices, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues across distributed systems.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in DevOps, cloud computing, and observability to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) and automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and IaC frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Experience with Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, remote team environment.
