Responsibility
- Oversee daily pharmaceutical operations, ensuring accuracy in medication dispensing and adherence to protocols.
- Lead and mentor junior pharmacists and support staff to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct clinical reviews and interventions to optimize patient therapy outcomes and minimize adverse drug reactions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with local and international pharmaceutical regulations, including documentation and auditing processes.
- Manage inventory control, including procurement, storage, and distribution of medications, while minimizing waste.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on new medications, protocols, and best practices in pharmacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmaceutical services and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven track record in clinical pharmacy, medication management, and patient care optimization.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
