Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance applications using the OutSystems platform, adhering to best practices and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on OutSystems development, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Integrate OutSystems applications with third-party APIs, databases, and legacy systems using REST, SOAP, and custom connectors.
- Implement UI/UX best practices to ensure intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
- Monitor and maintain deployed applications, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest OutSystems features, industry trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications on the OutSystems platform (certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in OutSystems Service Studio, LifeTime, and Forge components.
- Strong understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL).
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
- Ability to work with RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and database integrations (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in debugging and performance tuning.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
