Responsibility
- Architect and design highly scalable OutSystems applications aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Lead the development team through full SDLC, ensuring best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization.
- Define and enforce technical standards, patterns, and frameworks for OutSystems development across projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze feasibility, and propose innovative solutions.
- Mentor and upskill developers on OutSystems platform capabilities, integrations, and extensibility.
- Optimize application performance through code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols, data protection regulations, and Cognizantâs architectural guidelines.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new OutSystems features and industry trends.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years specializing in OutSystems (Associate or Expert certification preferred).
- Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-grade OutSystems applications.
- Strong expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of system integration, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines).
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a results-driven mindset.
