Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring timely and compliant shipments.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
- Lead airfreight operations, coordinating with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Monitor shipment tracking systems and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to international trade laws, tariffs, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.
- Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in import/export operations.
- Generate reports on shipment status, performance metrics, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in airfreight.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, INCOTERMS, and international shipping protocols.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP, WMS, or freight management systems).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder coordination.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours to align with global time zones.
