Responsibility
- Oversee Day-2 cloud operations for AWS and Azure environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead troubleshooting and incident resolution for cloud infrastructure, minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to optimize cloud deployment pipelines.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and best practices for cloud management.
- Monitor cloud costs and recommend optimization strategies to reduce expenses.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with cloud governance policies.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on cloud operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, with a focus on AWS and Azure.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
- Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) or Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
