Responsibility
- Lead and conduct thorough investigations into cybersecurity incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access.
- Perform digital forensics analysis to identify the root cause of security incidents and gather evidence for legal and internal purposes.
- Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures to minimize the impact of security breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and incident response protocols.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity to continuously improve incident response capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response and digital forensics.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCFA, or GCIH are highly desirable.
- Proven experience with digital forensics tools and techniques, including EnCase, FTK, and Volatility.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in high-stakes situations.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing incident response plans and procedures.
