Responsibility
- Develop and execute individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for patients with physical, developmental, or emotional challenges.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify functional limitations and set measurable goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, physiotherapists, nurses) to ensure integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, home modifications, and assistive devices to improve independence.
- Document patient progress meticulously and adjust interventions based on evidence-based practices.
- Lead group therapy sessions to foster social reintegration and community engagement.
- Mentor junior therapists and contribute to team training programs to elevate clinical standards.
- Stay updated with latest OT research and implement innovative therapies to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, with 2+ years in a senior role.
- Valid licensure or registration as an OT (preferably with international recognition).
- Proven expertise in neurological, orthopedic, or pediatric rehabilitation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and teams.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and therapy documentation systems.
- Commitment to ethical practice and patient-centered care.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
