Responsibility
- Assist physiotherapists in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility drills under the supervision of a licensed physiotherapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress, providing feedback to the physiotherapy team.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and home care.
- Administer modalities such as heat, cold, or electrical stimulation as directed by the physiotherapist.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with clinic policies.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Physiotherapy, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and common physiotherapy techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy and patience when working with patients of varying ages and conditions.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification is advantageous.
